NC-ASTA is an active and growing state chapter of the American String Teachers Association. We enrich string education in North Carolina through our All-State String Orchestra, ASTACAP, Solo Competitions, Scholarship Opportunities, and Professional Development Workshops.

One of the greatest strengths of NC-ASTA is the scope of our membership. We not only serve private and public school educators but our organization services private studio teachers of all string instruments, including Suzuki teachers, professional & amateur chamber musicians, performing symphony musicians, and university instructors.

NC-ASTA is always looking to add events and opportunities to benefit our members as well as everyone involved in teaching strings in North Carolina.  Keep checking our Upcoming Events Tab, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook for up-to-date information!
